Welcome to Saixa Gemini. By accessing or using our website and booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Services Offered

Studio Sessions

Studio Sessions are two-hour photography sessions for headshots and portraits, held in our studio.

Studio Sessions may be used for casting, agents, Spotlight, websites, press, portfolios or personal use.

  • Each Studio Session lasts up to two hours.

  • Studio Sessions include a gallery of images to choose from.

  • We provide our suggested best picks.

  • Each Studio Session includes 5 retouched final photographs.

  • Additional retouched photographs are charged at £40 each.

  • A short preparation guide will be sent after booking.

  • The studio address will be sent after booking.

Practice Portraits

Practice Portraits are on-location shoots for artists, performers, musicians, designers, architects, chefs, restaurants, studios and other creative practices.

These shoots may include portraits, process, atmosphere, documentation, behind-the-scenes images, spaces, materials and people at work.

Fees, timings, delivery, usage and licensing for Practice Portraits may vary and will be agreed in writing before the shoot.

Projects and Commissions

Projects and Commissions include editorial, documentary, commercial and bespoke photographic work.

These projects are arranged by enquiry only and may be subject to separate terms, fees, usage rights, licensing agreements and delivery timelines.

3. Bookings and Payment

Bookings are confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.

For Studio Sessions, a 50% deposit is paid when booking, with the remaining balance due after the shoot. Payment can be made by card or bank transfer.

If payment is not received, the booking may not be confirmed.

4. Rescheduling and Cancellation

If you need to reschedule your session, please contact us as soon as possible.

Studio Sessions may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, if at least 48 hours’ notice is given.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the session, or do not attend, the deposit may be retained.

If Saixa Gemini needs to reschedule a session for any reason, we will offer a new date or refund the amount paid.

Late arrival may reduce the time available for your session. If you are significantly late, the session may be treated as cancelled.

5. Half-Price Sessions

Half-price Studio Sessions may be available for early-career actors and performers.

To apply, please tick the relevant box on the booking form and briefly tell us why you are applying.

Half-price sessions are offered at our discretion and may be limited by availability.

6. Image Selection and Delivery

After the session, you will receive a gallery of images to choose from, along with our suggested best picks.

Studio Sessions include 3 retouched final photographs.

Final retouched photographs are delivered after you have made your selections.

Delivery times may vary depending on workload, but we aim to deliver galleries and final photographs within the times stated on the booking page or in our written communication.

7. Retouching and Reshoots

Retouching is intended to keep the image natural and representative of the sitter. Temporary blemishes, small distractions and minor adjustments may be corrected, but we do not substantially alter facial structure, body shape or identity.

Additional retouched photographs are charged at £40 each.

If you are unhappy with the images from a Studio Session, we offer up to two free reshoots. Reshoots must be requested within 7 days of receiving the gallery.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for bringing any clothing, props, make-up, materials or references they would like to use during the session.

Clients must not bring anything unsafe, illegal, offensive or likely to damage the studio, equipment, backdrops or property.

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Saixa Gemini reserves the right to refuse or stop a session if a client behaves in a way that is inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, threatening or disrespectful.

9. Intellectual Property

All photographs and images created by Saixa Gemini remain the copyright and intellectual property of SXGMI Photography Ltd., unless agreed otherwise in writing.

When final images are delivered, the client receives the right to use those images for personal and professional self-promotion, including casting profiles, agents, Spotlight, websites, press, portfolios and social media.

Clients may not sell, license, heavily edit, alter, transfer or provide the images to third parties for commercial use without written permission.

Raw, unedited files are not included and are not normally supplied.

10. Use of Images by Saixa Gemini

Saixa Gemini may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, printed material, exhibitions, editorial features or promotional purposes.

If you would prefer your images not to be shared publicly, please tell us in writing before or at the time of the session.

Clients may request the removal of their images from Saixa Gemini’s website or social media by contacting us by email.

11. Liability

Saixa Gemini takes reasonable care during all sessions, but is not responsible for loss, damage, delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for their own belongings during a session.

If technical failure, illness, damage, loss or another issue prevents us from delivering the agreed service, our liability will be limited to rescheduling the session or refunding the amount paid.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. Privacy

Personal information provided during booking or enquiry is used to manage bookings, communicate with clients and deliver our services.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
